When you connect local farmers with local chefs, amazing things happen! Tour de Pork, hosted by Firsthand Foods, highlights the fusion of super local, humanely raised, and ethically treated hogs with crazy talented and creative local chefs. For two months, pork-eaters across the NC Triangle (and beyond) can try various dishes at partner restaurants, all of whom are committed to honoring the hog by collectively utilizing the entire thing on their menus.
I created this animated video in collaboration with MuntyMan Designs to help encourage participation in the Tour, and also bring awareness to the amazing work the women at Firsthand Foods are doing.
